house_wilson [ thewlisian_afer ]	9:18p	Mod Post: Tagging I was going to do a big mod post about a whole bunch of stuff but I can get kind of rambly sometimes so I decided it might be better if I posted about each issue by itself. They're of varying degrees of importance and some things don't really need to be talked about for another week or two, so hopefully this way everyone will read the messages and pay attention and things will go smoothly. Okay, so! First up: TAGGING house_wilson's tagging system was created and set up primarily by savemoony, who also composed this fantastic guide on how to use the system. Over the course of the past week, the absolutely wonderful and amazing soophelia went through the entire community (and hw_reqs, as well) and finished tagging every entry. So now I ask all of you to lend a hand. Authors, please tag your fics from here on out. Use the tags that are already available. If you need an author tag or feel that another new tag is absolutely necessary, please send me an email or private message and I will take care of that for you. There are also some non-fic tags which should be used: • art - Fanart, photomanips, etc. • audio - Fanmixes, podfics, random song uploads, etc. • community pimp - Community advertisements. • discussion/meta - Essays, opinion questions, etc. • graphics - Any computer-generated visual that isn't an artistic photomanip or icons. Color bars, friends-only banners, macros, etc. • icons - Self-explanatory, I think! • polls - Anything where people are asked to vote, even if the poll itself is not on the community. • random misc stuff - Stuffed animals, doll makers, cosplay pics -- pretty much whatever doesn't fit into another category but is still on-topic for the comm. • screencaps - Unedited screencaps. • spoilers - Scans of magazine articles, text of magazine articles, links to spoiler reports online, clips from upcoming episodes, etc. • vids - Fanvids. So PLEASE USE THE TAGGING SYSTEM FROM NOW ON. It'll make finding things so much easier for everyone. If you have a question about how your entry should be tagged, feel free to contact me and ask.
